My Book Review - Rising Queen by Alisha Williams

Let’s just kick this off with the thought that lasted the whole book. Neo is life. I fell quickly for this character as he is perfectly unhinged. I was addicted to this book. The hurt, betrayal, and secrets- I was hooked and felt for all the Characters. 

Queenie made a life for herself, she survived the worst and vowed to make her world into a safe place. The men needed financial help to save not only what their fathers destroyed, but the one thing that held their hearts. When they heard about Queenie, they hoped she would be the key to saving it all. Little did they know, the woman they were relying on, was a piece of their past that they destroyed. 

Everyone should read this book and then continue on in the series. It just keeps getting better! 

This book was amazing, but as always check the trigger warnings. There aren’t just retellings of traumatic experiences, there are present-day ones that will grab onto your heart and refuse to let go. In all honesty, as sad as it may be, these pieces of the story are needed to truly let the characters shine.
